Welcome to
the 21st Century!
On the following
pages you will find information explaining and defining computer
hardware and software, internet and email use, and a variety of
other subjects relating to the understanding of computer systems,
how they are used and what they are used for. While primarily aimed
at PC use, many of these definitions and concepts apply to Apple
Computer systems and products, and to computers in general.
While still
an overview, the information presented is intended to provide a
foundation for the overall understanding of the usage of modern
personal computers and workstations. Additional investigation of
the topics discussed here is, of course, encouraged; and will become
vital and common knowledge to those in the digital content production
and presentation field.
